iPad 2 in the production

According to an article in the Wall Street Journal, Apple’s already begun production of iPad 2. According to people familiar with the project, the new device will have an integrated camera and faster processor.
Furthermore, the new iPad will be slimmer and lighter than previous model. Camcorder, integrated into the front panel will allow the implementation of videoconferencing. For this purpose, Apple will probably rely on FaceTime. The display won’t have higher resolution, because increasing the number of pixels in this screen size, it seems, is quite difficult. Will be installed more memory and faster processor for image calculations.
Unlike current iPad, his successor at the start of sales will be offered in the networks of AT&T and Verizon Wireless, the newspaper reported. From Apple, seems to have given up on sales exclusively through AT&T, once the new iPhone will be available through Verizon Wireless.
From the marketing of the iPad in April 2010 the company so far has managed to sell about 14.8 million units of the tablet and 17% of them are sold at Christmas. As far as Apple typically relied on the annual cycle in the marketing of their products is expected iPad 2 also enter the market in April.
